Side Project also said they were selling more tickets to this one since it is both indoors and outdoors.

 

that was pre-covid mind you but much to my dismay, i do agree with you. no one wants saisons. everyone wants stouts.

i agree though @ewwiccc some saisons and wilds to break up the stouts and barleywine makes all the sense in the world to me.

 

As long as Omnipollo brings back that slushee machine

 

the highlight of the invitational for me was mikerphone BA Wrecking Machine. i don’t even think there on the guest list this year.

 

My proxy came through. I really don't like asking for favors. Thankfully, she can be bought off with lagers.

Absolutely stoked to have CdC b2 and get to try MV.

 

One of the weirdest things I’ve ever had, but damn if it wasn’t tasty.

 

That beer was so so so good. Defintely the highlight of my day as well.

On a different note, I am disappointed that tickets went on sale back to back days, early afternoon. Sucks for people who don't live within 15 min and can't make it at open. Was able to catch tickets to last one on a friday night at 7pm when they went on sale. Liked that option better. More so I'm just salty that I was hoping for them at brewery at open Sunday when I was there and was off by a day.

 

I wonder how similar to zwanze this invitational will be. Zwanze was 95% oak-aged beer with a nice mixture (and a total blast). I just can’t imagine them topping the first invitational, so I’m curious what Rachel has up her sleeve. I’ve never even heard of some of these breweries…

 

I just realized: Three Floyd’s (theoretically) can’t send yet another keg of FVM this time since they didn’t do it last year

 

They have done Malort Barrel Aged Dark Lord variants in the past...

 

Who have you not heard of?
