    Happy hump day advocates!

Sunny and mild again today here, should last until later this week and I’m doing good.

    Drinking again La Goudale Ambrée.

I’d like to share my latest riparian sketch made yesterday afternoon:

    Cheers!

Again this and which I’ve been also listening to a bit lately. Nice discovery:

With nods and apologies, another NA mouth-pucker before a run in an hour.
Trying to get some grading done in the wee hours of dawn.
My sleep schedule is getting to be that of an 80 year old. Early bed, early rise, etc.
    Salut @Shanex !
    Tchin-tchin!

Good day BAS! Thanks, @Shanex, for opening today's thread! Starting off with no fresh snow, just a leftover 18 inches. Today's New Breakfast Beer is a leftover from my last TX trip - I found it while inventorying and organizing my beer reefers during Dry January:

Not too bad for a lager, rating 3.21, rDev -8.8%.

Three Floyds Brewing Co. Behemoth Barleywine Style Ale red wax released 02/2012. A malty and slightly bitter profile that's pretty smooth for what I believe is a 10.5% beer. Cheers to sabotaging the day with early morning high abv. beer! :sunglasses:

    Re-visited February 09th, 2022

Coal-black body with a brownish tinge, opaque; thick, tan head initially, settles to a thin, lasting, creamy texture atop the beer. Intense smells of chocolate, rich cocoa, dark malt grains; slight dark roast coffee element. Deep, sensuous caramel flavor offset with a nice whiskey note; bittersweet chocolate; vanilla; mint. Heavy body; thick; mild roughness on the palate; sticky; simmering alcohol warmth.

For an eight year-old beer, this thing still packs a wallop. It is incredibly rich and robust, chock full of dark beer goodness.

Review from notes dated 12/7/13 during the 1st annual BA Winter Warmer Pub Crawl: Denver Style. Todd split a 12 oz bottle between eight of us at the Lucky Pie in LoDo. I lucked out and had two small pours...

Opaque brown body with a thin brown head. Aroma of chocolate, molasses, oak, dates. Flavors mirror the aroma with the addition of a big booze note and sharp hop bitterness. Rich, thick, heavy mouthfeel with lots of residual sugars.

An eye-opening, big beer. A must have for the adventurous lovers of large, complex dark beers.

..... circumnavigated the puddle again.....having a 2121 Stickee Monkee. I was surprised to see the high score for this, which in my humble opinion is a wretched mess. To sweet, almost undrinkable.

Banbury Ale, an ESB from German brewer Ale-Mania (5.1%).

This is a nice bitter with a good balance of bready, grainy malts and herbal, floral hops, as well as sweetness and bitterness.
