    I recall you were a life long fisherman so you know what you are talking about.

    My introduction to peck was when I visited an Awful Arthur’s restaurant in the OuterBanks, NC. I was ordering and I asked for a dozen and a half of oysters. Waitress said for a few more dollars you can get a peck (or maybe it was a half peck). Anyway I got 50 oysters for three more dollars than it cost for just 18 oysters. I learned a lesson that day.

    We squeeze a bit of lemon on them and then dip them in melted butter. I am a big fan of cocktail sauce with shrimp. I will eat them without it but it would make me sad.
