I don't do much beer shopping in NJ, I wish I could point you in a direction as to where to get it. It's a NJ BA Call to Arms, does anyone know where you can find Krampus?

Over the years my focus was on darker beers with a malt profile; shying away from hoppy beers. Heady Topper was a turning point for me but I've been reticent to dive deep into IPA's. Tonight I decided to pick up Racer 5 and give it a spin. I like this one and will try and find other IPA's that have minimal bitterness on the finish which is typically a turn off for me.

Highland Thunderstruck Coffee Porter from Asheville is pretty much IMO the best pure coffee beer out there. Tastes like drinking cold black coffee.

I feel bad, if I had another one I'd send it to you. The only reason I had that one is because a good friend of mine was able to acquire a case of it, thank goodness we, here in PA, have access to some pretty darn good stuff. I was lazy and didn't pursue it and now wishing I did. :slight_frown:

What really intrigues me about this beer is all the "16's" - 16 Hops, 16 Malts, 16% ABV...

Currently drinking a bottle of Victory Headwaters Pale Ale. The other day I was struck by a craving for a light, bubbly American Pale with strong, grassy, citrusy hop character—Maine Peeper immediately came to mind.

This is definitely doing the trick. Review to follow . . .

Well you're in luck, because hoppy-but-not-bitter (D)IPAs are all the damn rage these days. And I love 'em as much as anyone, though I enjoy the bitterness of (D)IPAs, too. My recommendation would be Maine Beer Co.'s Lunch IPA.

Sam Adams - Latitude 48 from the fall seasonal pack. The hops are fading from a fresh bright floral bitterness, to a duller more over-steeped tea kind of bitterness.
