    Great idea @Shanex for the Valentines theme today. It takes a tolerant partner to have a BA relationship,,, or sometimes just a fun partner.

    Thanks man! I also appreciate those taking the time to share the love of their life in photos here, including Jamfuel and his headphones.

    I’m obviously only speaking for myself but I’ve been told she’s out of my league (the Miss Shanex I posted in the OP). If others BA feel the same and as a consolation, @TCgenny is on the money that it takes a very tolerant, patient and kind partner to have a BA as a longtime lover and spouse.

    Thank you, it thought it was fitting, for 2 reasons he was guarding his mate as she ate out of the feeder and asking they age old question when someone sees you photographing a beer. Cheers!

    Enjoying a Sculpin by Ballast Point. Iv hatched a plan to get more of these specific boxes of sixers without having to travel as far to get them. Canned a month ago, I want that freshness(without having to hunt for it at other locations)! Cheers!

    Bird Lady Pale Ale from Tall City Brewing in Midland Texas. I brought home a six-pack after enjoying one with lunch there on Friday. This is a very good pale ale with a very deep, hearty malt presence balanced nicely with a piney hop bitterness.

    The Bird Lady has a name. Midge Erskine. She was a force in West Texas. I was fortunate to have met her in 1980 and to have become a friend of hers until her passing in 2015. Tall City Brewing is located directly across the street from Ms. Erskine's old home. A corner lot in the middle of Midland, it was and remains hidden behind a tangle of overgrown native plants. I don't really think Tall City has an inkling as to the woman behind their "legend". She truly is more than legend. She was real.
