Love lagers, so will give OMB a try. Lagers, west coast IPAs, Hazys, stouts and porters are the styles my wife and I typically choose. Not big sour fans. The Heist brunch sounds awesome. We will be there from Thursday late afternoon to Sunday. So we will get to a decent amount of breweries.

Nope. I'm 48 years old. Had a great time at both places. But I don't worry about those type of things because they aren't worth the effort. LOL

It’s always good to escape for a long weekend with the wife especially in the long winters of Maryland. Charlotte will be fun winter escape I’m sure. Southern Range makes solids beers. Heist for a good meal as others have said. Resident Culture makes some of the best mixed fermented beers in the country IMO (but you mentioned your not big on sours). Olde Meck makes good lagers and sounds like it’s a great on site drinking spot (what the locals are saying).

If you're looking for a few additional places to consider:

Triple C : isn't too far from Wooden Robot. IMO, they brew the best stouts/porters in the city. Has a nice pizza food truck too. I find them very underrated on beer advocate.

Birdsong: isn't too far from Noda, has a great vibe (especially on a nice day) and I've enjoyed the beers (their honey pie double IPA is in season now and reminds me of Hopslam)

Cellar at Duckworth's: not a brewery, it's a speakeasy restaurant in the basement of a bar, but IMO it's a must visit on an anniversary trip centered around beer. fantastic food and world class beer selection. ask for a tour of the cellar and see of the many beers that they have stored. you'll need a reservation, so get working on that.

Back from my trip. We tried to hit as many as we can, but did miss a few. We were able to hit:
    Divine Barrel
    Resident Culture
    Heist
    Salud
    Devils Logic
    Triple C
    Suffolk
    Birdsong
    Fonta Flora
    Wooden Robot

The 2 I forgot to go to were OMB and Petty Thieves.
Best Beer I had was an IPA from Devils Logic. Followed by Resident Culture and 2 lagers from Salud. Had a raspberry Chocolate Stout from Birdsong that was really good as well. I liked something from every brewery just didn't love everything from every brewery.
I liked Divines and Saluds vibe/Taproom a little more than others folledby RC. Drank at both the upstairs and downstairs at Salud. Overall, I really enjoyed it and now have a better idea on how to get around and when to go to certain breweries and when not to. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for the advice everyone.
