    Good morning advocates.

    Firstly I’d like to thanks @beergoot for this great beer, and the rest of the haul he sent me as we agreed to a trade about two weeks ago.

    Secondly I’m starting with Heady Topper, I know I’m supposed to drink it from the can, but for a first time I wanted to see what it looked like in a glass so forgive me. At least I’m not going to be a d-bag and will recycle it. :wink:

    Thirdly, this is a World-class DIPA. Generously bitter and quaffable, incredibly flavorful and well balanced. 8% ABV? Where? You can drink this like you’d be a toddler with a bowl of milk and cereal. Outstanding.

    Man, I’m super happy right now. Cheers all and Dave in particular!

    Good Morning @Shanex and all! Congratulations on your trade and score of two Alchemist beers, which I hope show up in Chicago one of these days/years (they drive it right through us to get regular drops in Denver.

    Looking forward to your haul @beergoot , and also your review of the 2014 Eclipse Imperial Stout for the Cellaruary thread!

    Round three for me, this one a cognac. It was/is good, but the first bottle I am splitting into two, the second half (11 more oz) later today.

    Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread. Glad you got to try Heady Topper - hopefully it got to you fairly fresh (How long was the shipping?). Today is yet another early summer day here in the tundra of NW PA - partially sunny and warm (30 degrees F) with a predicted high of 53! I'll believe that when it happens - if so, off the PGH for supper!

    Where does that shadow come from? It's in every shot! And the body is a bright banana yellow! Oh well, a poor shot of an excellent beer! Rating 4.21, rDev +9.9%. I LOVE starfruit but rarely find it.

    Very fresh as it was canned on 17th or January. Not even a month old considering about ten odd days of shipping, I have no complaints to make.

    A little post-brunch Psych Cat Grass IPA, as one course ends today.
    Got in a very dicey, icy trail run this morning - only 7.5miles, and took over 90 minutes to run because I was sliding, skidding, and nearly bit it a dozen times. Fun, dangerous, and stupid.

    Frischer Traum, a Pale Ale by German brewery Kehrwieder (5.7%).

    This makes for an enjoyable wet-hopped Pale Ale that showcases Callista's unique flavor profile very nicely, with some distinct red berry and lighter stone fruit and citrus notes, as well as some pine.
