    Good day BAs! Off to a warm start today - 49 degrees and possibly rain. First day back at the YMCA since covid began - legs feel like rubber, chest pains, and pain from possible femural claudication. It's a good life if you don't weaken! Today's New Breakfest Beer:

    I do not like the graham cracker flavor - it completely hides the fruits and spice. Rating 3.26, rDev -21.4%.

    FiftyFifty Eclipse Imperial Stout - Grand Cru (2016)

    Speaking of glorious, exceptional and wonderful beer filled days, here is my fourth Eclipse of the week, and it's my favorite with one to go.

    Full review here. Bottom line, this is one of the best beers I've ever had, and it's been sitting on bourbon and honey for over five years. But you GOT to take it slow, full glory begins at the 30-40 minute mark out of the refrigerator. You need to take this baby slow.

    Good morning everyone and kudos to @Ozzylizard for starting it right on time. Got to give some credits to @ChicagoJ for thinking of starting it even though Pennsylvania was faster.

    Drinking Pliny the Elder which was another beer in the haul from @beergoot. Thanks again.

    Very much excellent, 8% ABV and I believe a bit easier to find in the Western parts of the US now than it once was (outside of California that is)

    Since it’s my first time happily sipping it, I’m sure it’s the same beer it once was, doesn’t disappoint at all.

    Now pondering for a nap or doing home chores, but Miss Shanex might be leaning toward the latter because as she said « that floor isn’t going to clean itself ». I am baffled.

    Good start to the thread today @Ozzylizard - haven't been in any gym for almost 2 years and I hear ya - my body got weaker and my legs let me know it every day. Need to get back to it. Good on you for getting back into the groove... (hey @ChicagoJ - hope you're well Jason).

    Done with chores and looking forward to chill a bit with a Focal Banger, from the same trader and pastries.

    Once again World Class beer and IPA, nicely bitter especially at the first sips, but still very drinkable and refreshing. It’s pretty mild this late afternoon here probably making it even better. Canned on 17th of January like Heady I was drinking yesterday.

    I could drink this year round. For better or worse I’m far enough from Vermont not to become too addicted but both beers I enjoyed from the Alchemist have been remarkably well crafted. Two winners over two days.

    Still have a couple of beers for… tomorrow? Best to not sample such treats in a sitting. :wink:

    Okay, the temptation to crack open this sour from Colorado was just too strong. Sorry @beergoot I swear that I’m keeping that last beer in the fridge for tomorrow. :wink:

    Sour beers and ales, they’re not for everyone but I like them. I’ve had a few from Brooklyn before, or French one. Always good, this one is great. It’s a granted, Denver is one of the top notch destination and city for great breweries so no surprise.

    .....found a 4pk in the crawlspace yesterday from 2019......tastes change. I gave this 4.5 across the board 5 yrs ago, thought it was fantastic, now, I dont know. It seems to be a sickly sweet mess.

    Lagunitas High West from 2017. A mix between dark roast and booze still hanging around. It's scratching the barrel itch after cleaning up another round of snow on the block and taking the mutts for a long walk. The eighth week in a row we've had measurable snow. No complaints here as the sun is out and the melt has already begun!:sunglasses:
