    Good morning and good day one and all. A few responses before diving in with the remains of the fifth and final beer from this 2016 release.

    @eppCOS - Doing fine, except for the Winter and restrictions in place here, hope both clear when March arrives. Following your (@Beersnake1 's) running exploits, hope you run at your best for your upcoming weekend challenges.

    @BlameHouston - Very cool about the Eclipse. Would have personally enjoyed a smaller serving size, primarily due to calories, and hope to find the latest release available here at some point. Final pour of my five bottles, Fifty Fifty now the second 2022 recipient of the 100 ounce club (100 ounces from a brewer in a year). Tenaya Creek in Las Vegas was the first.

    Full review in the Cellaruary thread. Bottom line, it is solid like the others, but a bit too sweet for my taste preferences, the bourbon pushing it over the edge.

    I've paired these tunes before, both inspired by the overnight Jazz set by Matthew Hermes on 90.9 FM, which is on most of the time in my house. The first, the actual song played, the second, not the OG rock version by Paul Simon, which is one of my favorites from him, but rather the Bach song which served as inspiration for the two latter versions.

    Hope you all have a great beer day, and hope it's not too bad to get off and burn off some of those beer calories. Tomorrow is a no go, but should start warming up a bit on Sunday and Monday.

    Friday it is then. Good day all.

    Storm Eunice https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-60426382 is currently battering parts of SW England, Cornwall and Somerset and a weather warning has been issued, just like on the other side of the Channel here. 80-90 Miles per hour gusts are expected on the coast. Shouldn’t be this stormy or windy here inland, but I’m being cautious.

    Drinking something from Hanabi Lager Company and it’s another great one from the haul Beergoot sent me.

    I’ve been more than spoiled. @beergoot owns package should come his way soon. Had to call the French post platform yesterday to be sure it was moving a bit at least. Weather conditions have been difficult in Denver and CO this week so maybe that’s it.

    Evening all as we strike 10pm here on Friday night in Oz. Thanks to @ChicagoJ for starting the thread, and here's hoping @Shanex keeps warm and dry, which is something I've had no trouble doing these last few months!

    Today's beer was Resin by Sixpoint Brewery, courtesy of @TurkeysDrinkBeer. This one is every inch a double IPA, singing its dankness from the rooftops as it coats my mouth with resiny, sticky hops. Pours a gorgeous copper orange that demands you admire its body while it hits you over the head with a very satisfying alcohol kick. An awesome beer!

    Is the 100oz metric something you know because you keep a log of your drinking intake or something you just noticed?

    I'm asking because I want to know whether I'm the only geek who keeps a log.

    Tip o' the hat to the early birds and @ChicagoJ - hope things rebound there quickly; sounds like it's masks off there soon. Hopefully stays that way for all of us!
    A little NA UA Italian Pilsner, my last of the old batch, today on my "day off" before a minor race.
    @Beersnake1 has a run that is approximately 8X what I'm doing tomorrow. Yikes, and good luck!

    I consider my posts at the forum a good enough log. I have enough data to manage at work that I’m not creating more work for myself :slight_smile: Then I’d have to backup that log at least two times and on different media… :wink:

    Happy Friday BA's - man. some stormy ass weather yesterday and last night.....temps dropped from the 50's to the 20's with freezing rain and sleet and snow.....bleah!

    Celebrating my 64th orbit around the sun today, with this nice 2019 KBS - will be going out for sushi with my gf later, and pizza for lunch with my mom.....just wish the weather was better today!

    How Little You Know About the Game You've Been Playing All Your Life. A TIPA from Boundary, a cooperative brewery in Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK).

    Outside storm 'Eunice' is blowing. like @Shanex mentioned, stormy weather in NW Europe today. Nothing tornado like. But strong enough to blow away huge roofing parts of the local footballstadium (here is about 2 or 3 miles from the North Sea).
