Good Morning @JamFuel ! It looks like a great start to a well earned weekend.

Kicked off New Beer Weekend #83, which includes the 17th Anniversary of New Beer Sunday tomorrow. This was a great beer selection from my cellar.

Bourbon County Brand Birthday Stout (2020)



Full review in the aforementioned thread. Bottom line is this is a great release by BCBS, wouldn't change much of anything beyond allowing the base to shine a little bit, but the barrel is so wonderful, it is a really great beer.

@Danmullens1 - Is the 3 Sheeps WCIPA a wide release, or just brewery / select accounts? May need to head to Kenosha to pick up some, as it's my favorite style. If it's anything like the @scream tribute Pryor Engagement, dialed back since it's not a triple, it sounds like a must grab beer.

@DavetotheB - The hell with the "official version", the OG Version is "the only version"!



Will check back later this weekend with any 1973 standouts featured later this morning.

 

My neighbor hooked me up with a bunch of Tree House to sip this weekend. The mango is strong with this one. Juicy and really tasty. Cheers all.

Good day BAs! Thanks @JamFuel for starting us off today - after your work "week", you've earned a break and a nap! We're currently under a "snow squall warning", which, living south of Lake Erie, is: a. expected and b. redundant. Around here that's called winter and lake effect snow. The current 22 degrees is nice and warm for February morning, leading to today's New Breakfast Beer:



I don't know where that shadow in the lower corner is coming from - it only shows up in finished shot! No shadows there when the shot is framed and taken??? Anyway, a good brew from an excellent brewer! I don't like or drink brandy (or bourbon) but really love the notes the barrels add to the stout spectrum. This is good! Rating 4.13, rDev +5.4%.

This is a very solid slightly one dimensional Imperial Stout.

 

That does sound like a great beer…the @scream tribute TIPA, “Pryor Engagement”was delicious…I have one bottle left, cellared for the 1 year anniversary of Don’s “wake”. Cheers J, I hope the snow didn’t hit you too hard.

Bottled 9/9/21. Poured at 54°. I try not to let this beer hang around too long anymore as I’ve found it ages ok, but drinks better fresher. Thanks to @ChicagoJ for the great posts and reviews of his cellared Elijah Craig stash this week…Great beers! Cheers to all BAs, this beer savoring Saturday!

 

Morning stout with some corned beer hash and an unfortunately over-cooked egg.


Too lazy to spend a little time with another couple of eggs. The hash was the focus, anyhow, you high-falutin’ grapes
