Anyone at the brewery want to split a bottle of Leaner?

I left an hour ago otherwise I’d be on board for this. I’ll probably be back around tomorrow if you or anyone is keen to split a larger bottle.

BVC is still fantastic. The DB Nila is awesome. Gonna get the DB stagg first tomorrow on a clean palate. La Table is my favorite beer of the day lol.

Btw for you cinnamon fans, you NEED to try this guy

Man this is nuts. I’m hoping next time sp and ha work together, it’s for a vanilla cinnamon beer.

Well, sorry to disappoint, but let's just say I heard from a little bird that SP/HA have worked together on DB Generational with Cognac barrels.

This was one of the best beers I've had in quite awhile.

Had Phil on draft. Cinnamon overpowers the whiskey and vanilla, and the complexity one would expect from the blending of base beers just wasn't there. I enjoyed 7 Candles more. The apple brandy, vanilla, and base beer play together nicely.

I've found the Shared adjunct stouts are just too sweet to have more than a 5oz pour and Phil was that way with the cinnamon. I know I'm in the minority here but I wish they'd do way more non-adjunct stouts. And barleywines. Always need more barleywines.

Woke up, drank some coffee, checked the weather, then last minute decided to drive to the brewery to meet some friends for a few hours at open. Sat outside for the beautiful weather. Oude La Ruche is the shit. So is Gus's. Pizza Champ was solid. Dig the crust.

Stagg Jr.>Willet>Port. All were fantastic. It's crazy when the menu is so good that you're passing on MJK.

Food wise Bolyard's blew it out of the water...again. Their Burnt End Breakfast was some serious otherworldly concoction.

Bolyard's is amazing. I always liked their sandwiches, but the burgers at the new location are probably my favorite now. There are several good places for brunch right there by the brewery/Cellar. I usually rotate between Blue Duck, Bolyard's, and The Crow's Nest now that they are doing brunch again.

Another vote for Bolyard’s. Seriously amazing food for a butcher shop. I think I ate there four times in three days on my last trip.
