Midday beer - sick of the cold, at least the incessant wind of the last several days seems to have calmed down. I've just been hunkered down in the house all day, got some good, meaningful guitar practice in this afternoon.



This was the first band I ever played in .. The Dirks, aka The Jerks We were doing a gig with our nemesis Cookie And The Adjustables

 

Sorry to hear that, man. But in some ways, we just do what we can do, and biking is a great activity. I plan on switching over back to some biking, and if I ever could not run again, biking would be my way to staying in motion.
It was only the pandemic that had me going over the usual 10 miles a week I was doing (running) between 2008 (bad ankle sprain) to 2020. Those years off, and doing spinning, elliptical, weights, really helped put me back into running when I headed out the door for a first long run in March of 2020. Keep on bikin'! Cheers!

 

Old Nation Boss Tweed DIPA... welcome to (SE)VA, Old Nation

 

We fly to NH Wednesday to visit my wifes family for 5 days. I'll weed eat and mow today then shovel the predicted 5-8" of snow this Friday to clear the driveway up there. Once we're both retired I'd love to spend half the winter and summer up there. Cheers Harley!

Did several hikes today - imgur was not working this morning - had to re-install on my phone and now it seems to be working.....

This awesome "pawpaw pils" from Wooly Pig yesterday was so good, I had to get a full growler of it (from their tap list - "German style Keller Pils, cheered up with locally grown pawpaw, for a tropical twist" 5% abv)

now drinking this delish "tap standard" IPL Eins, one of the 6 - 4 pks of bottled beers I got yesterday while at the brewery....



Kevin knows how to brew some great beers!
