Going big right out of the gate. Brooklyn Black Ops-Four Roses Small Batch Edition. Time has treated this one well. Was very hot and very woody when I got it fresh a few months ago. Flavors have mellowed out and this is really pleasant. Burgers and dogs tonight. Better grilling conditions than last night. Cheers!

While the appearance is disappointing, the taste and mouthfeel are outstanding. More coconut than coffee is present.

Nice spread! A couple more progressive gems from 1973 are Genesis-Selling England by the Pound and Emerson, Lake and Palmer-Brain Salad Surgery.

And thanks for the tunes this am, @ChicagoJ Both are my respective favorite songs from each band.

    Cheers!

Talking with a brewer about coconut in beer, this is often the result.
Either an oily sheen, or bits like this.
    Cheers

Good afternoon, gang. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend. I have a rare day off tomorrow which is a plus. I'm starting the day - beerwise - with a Milk Stout from Bull n Bear Brewery - Love Money. I just reviewed it on the NBW thread. This is the first time I've had a Bull n Bear beer for the first time from the can rather than on draught. I like it a lot. Cheers!

    Good afternoon BA
It's 60° in Southern Indiana today, so my wife and I went out for lunch and took a walk by the Ohio riverfront. I just opened this bottle which will probably be my only beer for today

I will always try a quad, regardless of who brews it. Taking notes for NBW. Cheers all!
