While I've certainly heard the song, it was many years after the fact, as I was born that year!

I was ready to transition to something other than beer but this voice from the refrigerator got too freaky so I did what I was told. Surf Wax. An awesome IPA brewed by Burial.

Gonna fry some salmon fillets tonight. And some Mac and cheese to go with it.

I’m all over the board now. Other Half Citra Daydream in a coffee mug while I get a jump on some work. Don’t judge me!

Spent about 4 hours today cleaning the firebox after seeing how ridiculously filthy it was. Working like that in a tight space…I found muscles I forgot about.

I think it would be cool to be about 25 again and live again in that time. I was a bit young for Woodstock but had my own weird and good adventure at Concert 10 in the Poconos in the early '70s.

It makes me feel old young man. I can say though that I do not have kids older than you. Close. Two daughters. Growing up they loved their mom’s music (Dave Matthews, David Grey, Jack Johnson). Hated my old timer music.

Not sure if you have the day off tomorrow but if you do have another beer.

    Cheers my friend.

That's crazy talk right there. :stuck_out_tongue:

WXRT went with Don't You Worry bout a Thing from Inversions this weekend, but this is my favorite from that album.

Yes, both solid albums. Billy Joel got all the love in 1973, but Tony Banks was the true Piano Man that year!

Very impressive CD selection from the year. I do concur on Steely Dan's 1973 release, it was excellent. I was never a Joe Walsh fan, but he is talented and that was very popular back in the day.

I'll feature six more songs over the next three days, including Two for Tuesday from an album I'm somewhat surprised to not see in your 1973 album (@champ103 ) and CD (@beergoot ) photos.

'Til then, keep the great tunes flowing!

Cheers all... hope your weekend was great.

Drinking black Butte porter. Almost finished of the half case I nabbed. It's damn good. Been screwing with a furnace on the fritz. Ignitor won't light off. Vacuum switch works, I just don't get 120 to the ignitor, suspect a bad board. Last thing I needed after just getting a full kitchen suite. Hot water heater proba ly gonna take a digger next... :grimacing:
    Heres one for palindrome day...

Yes, and this beer was canned on Feb 3, so really good for my town. And thanks to you and those folks here that I follow. I can easily look up your reviews to get a good idea on whether it may be in my wheelhouse or not. So thanks for that and all the others I follow who write reviews

I lived through the 60's and it was an interesting time. I I didn't go to Woodstock but I did have a front row seat for Jimi Hendrix at Clark University in Worcester MA. Here's some footage from that concert - the audio is terrible - I didn't record it.

You cannot go wrong with a Hendrix selection. I was a little too young for Woodstock. I have tried to describe Woodstock to people younger than I. They are confused when I mention people came from all over America to a farm in New York . Many hitch hiked their way. They are stunned you could be that carefree and accept rides from strangers. .
