We have a Bad Traders section, what about a "World Class" traders section?

Maybe add a “room for improvement” section where we publicly tell people how they could have done a little better.

In all seriousness, I usually just tag them in the pics of beer haul thread and give good reviews/feedback.

Yeah, it's a really nice thought and everything, but it might be a good idea to ask your trading partner if they're okay with it before mentioning them in the thread.

Too late. I really see no harm in this. I don't believe that posting their generosity will expose them to being taken advantage of. They are experienced traders.

Most people get a nice shout out when the beer is bring drunk on WBADYN, NBW, etc.

Really, though, beer trading is nearly dead here now. I’ve barely had a response to my ISOs for about two years now.

It was meant more as a future reference kind of comment.

Might not hurt to reach out to ask those we think to post. Hadn't considered there would be a down side to showing what is best about trading, but I guess there might be?

Back in the day there was no bad traders page anywhere, no bad trader forum here, and we all posted a list of the good traders we met on our profile pages as recommendations they were good. I remember some folks even gave star ratings, or little notes everyone could read, and I don't think anyone asked permission, and I don't think bad things resulted.

But since it was brought up now, might be a good idea to suggest getting permission of people before putting their names in the thread.

I'm not the best with recognition. I don't feel I deserve it when it's directed at me and never feel I do a good enough job when I try to recognize others.

That being said, I don't think recognition will make me a target or puts pressure on me to continue being a good trader.

I think that for the most part we reciprocate good intentions and when we encounter good traders things progress into a positive experience.

We can all sense when things don't feel right but even if something (usually a few good beers) clouds our judgement we can always rely on the bad trader posts to help warn everyone from making the same mistake.

I appreciate @not2quick wanting to recognize anyone who has contributed to a positive experience. I don't see a real downside in posting positive experiences except for some really well deserving people being left out if nothing else because I have a short attention span. I will try to cover some of my recent positive experiences in the recognition post soon in the hopes that we can keep it going.
