Greetings advocates, this is hump day and I am drinking Delirium Tremens:

    Shaggy - It wasn’t me.

Anyone remember this tune from the early 2000s? What a hit at the time.

    Cheers…

Good day BAs! Thanks, @Shanex, for correcting my typo yesterday and for starting today's thread! @ChicagoJ, here's another Destihl brew for my New Breakfast Beer file, the last specimen from the BA Extreme Beer Box:

Some day I'm going to have to track down some yuzu - to my taste buds it seems to add a lemony flavor (at least to beer). Maybe the next trip to SAT will enable me to find a grocery specializing in Asian fruits and veggies (or maybe next month in Munchen). Rating 3.66, rDev -4.9%.

Drinking Chimay Red, as I work my way up the ABV ladder in the mix pack. I've
really only had the Blue in any quantity so It's good to give the others a test drive

The Chimay Dorée you had yesterday is quite good, and your assessment was right. It’s the lighter ABV wise of any Chimay you’ll find.

I enjoyed it and it has all of the characteristics of Chimay Ale that I like, without the high ABV
so, I can have a few without starting a bar room brawl

I am probably weaker, instead of starting a brawl I just want to embrace my pillows these days if I have more than a few.

    Guten tag, mein Advocates.
Just a little bit of the placebo NA/UA Juicy IPA stuff, still pondering a run in this crazy-ass cold weather but waiting for it to get above 0*F (yikes). So, a slow start, with who-knows-what later.

As to the idea of a Chimay-induced brawl, I think that would perhaps be the classiest fight I've ever seen, with a lot of leather glove-slapping involved.

For shaving I started using a DE razor and a brush again sometime ago. Since there was no hurry to get out of the door early most of the days for almost the last two years.
When looking for information and howtos on different fora I noticed a funny resemblance with us here on BA. There are even threads with something like what was your shave today. Complete with images like this one I made, just for illustration

Five point IPA at ORL airport. If anyone is flying from here today security to about an hour, worst I've ever seen it.

    Hey BA's

According to the new step tracker app I installed on my phone earlier this morning, I have 2.65 miles in already - Emma and I did a hike earlier - first time in like 6 weeks our favorite trail was not completely snow / ice covered - still a few icy spots, and flooded trail from all the rains Tuesday....but much easier walking!

Monday we had a high of 82. Today we're expected to top out at 28. I'm gonna drink beer and cook. Pot of beans with ham hocks. Another pot of vegetable stock. Probably will lead to some vegetable barley soup a little later. And I'm gonna listen to Willie and a few others.

    Cheers Y'all

Drinking Bell's Hopslam, @Beer-Panda that's my great-grandfather's shaving rig, it has his name on the other side. He was born in the 1870's or 80's, so I have no idea how old it is,
that badger brush is still soft and could be used today. He was a coal miner and a teamster.
He made deliveries in Philly from a horse drawn wagon. I have a very vague memory of him

@eppCOS I saw what you did there

That is something special to own. I remember only both my grandfathers. They used to shave in the old fashioned way. Nothing of their shaving stuff has passed down, but they left some other tools and knifes I still use today.
    Cheers!
