Reporting back- I really did not notice any decrease in carbonation from the night before. Decent head and creamy feel. I would rate this bottle stopper a success! That said, I will also agree with @Resistance88 that this big stout is probably not the right beer to compare carbonation amounts with seeing that the level is pretty low to start with. I will repeat the experiment with something a little fizzier later. Thanks again @JayORear, I usually stick with the 12 oz. format but this will increase my purchases of double-deucers.
