:beers: I have a few better bottle car boys and want more. I saw some " BPA free material and easy-to-grip handle 3 and 5 gallon water bottles" at the megalowmart. It's the handle that interests me.
Would it be better to purchase handle(s) and buy more better bottles or could water bottles be used?

If they are what I'm thinking of, with the handle integrated into the container, they're going to be a real bitch to clean

A Brew Hauler is an option but supply seems to be dwindling. Some of the larger online suppliers show it as NLA but it's still on ebay for $13.89. A similar product (maybe a knock-off) is on Amazon for $10.50.

Gotta try it just once to c if the scrubbing and rinsing r worth the trade off of a handle. Results won't be posted for many weeks. Gotta get the jug, figure out the right size stopper, drive an hour to homebrew store..

I have a 5 gallon one that I put a wild ale in 5 years ago... no ill effects... no oxygen ingress issues... haven't tried to clean it yet, but oxy soak and a soft cloth should work just fine.

Good idea. And oxy is still affordable while ale prices r skyrocketing. Glad to have a bread machine too. As the ancient Egyptians said in greeting, bread and beer.

I use the Arm & Hammer Free & Clear Oxi cleaner with a bit of TSP mixed in. Cleans stuff quick and easy.
