For previous versions until sometime yesterday, there was a post count 1/40 - 40/40 at the top right hand side of a page, to the left of one's user ID, that helped navigate a page. It has been gone since sometime yesterday.

Is this a temporary situation, and if not, can it be restored?

    Thanks!

Hey man, I still see it, seems to have navigated to the bottom right at least on my screen. Hope you're well, Jason. Cheers!

    Erik,

Can you post a screenshot? I don't have this anywhere on my screen logged in, including the bottom RHS. (either desktop (Brave Private Browsing or regular mode) or phone (Safari, Private or regular mode)).

There is a small up/down arrow feature to the far righthand side that may be new, though without the page post count (1-40), or perhaps I just ignored it until now.

I am well, best wishes for your trail run next week!

    Thanks,

    Jason

Sure, not sure why this isn't visible to you (?), but if you look at the image below, you'll see the post # right above the "reply" button in the feed. Cheers man, Eric

I think @ChicagoJ is referring to the number that used to be in the top right of the page. I never used it, so I didn't even realize it was gone until he mentioned it, but I do remember it.

Thank you Erik. I still have the individual post number reference, as pictured in your screenshot.

My question involves the post count Frank noted in his response. Nothing Earth shattering, perhaps I'm one of the few who used / noticed it, but if it is something which can be easily restored, I (and perhaps others) would appreciate the update if possible and easy.

I can use the alerts to hopefully send me to the next unread post for watched threads in the interim. I'll await Todd's response.

    Thank you Erik and Frank!

This is a desktop only feature (from an old 3rd party add-on) that allows some on-page pagination while viewing a thread. Might work on some tablets too. It was recently turned off, but I just turned it back on.

Note: We do plan on upgrading the forums this year, but I don't believe that it'll be supported after that. So, enjoy it while it lasts!

Thanks Todd! Both for re-enabling it and pointing me to this thread in a PM

Clicked on this thread as I was hoping pagination was something much more interesting than it turned out to be.
