I would like to know this too considering I have one to trade. As a reference I tried an Otters for Otter IP Midwest forum traded (my box of Otters + glass) for one Kent the Otter bottle and got crickets.

I'm curious about regular ADWTD. It's on the ba top 250 and it doesn't specify if triple oak or double Oak count. When was the last time they released this? What is the trade value on them?

It's neither double nor triple, it's cognac cask only. And I think the 2017 box set included a smaller format of this similar take, but you should really seek out the big boys for the authentic experience. It's unique and quite enjoyable - b2 2014 being the one I can attest to. Although, this much age is an obvious a factor to consider, and to be fair I haven't had that vintage in some years.

So can anyone give me an idea what ADWTD trades for? Also inquiring about Nillerzzzz.

Side question about Nillerzzz. How many batches are there? I may be trying to trade for a 2020 but was curious if I should go for a more fresh batch or if a newer batch will be available soon?

Nillerzzzzz is typically released in may, last year was pushed back to June due to the pandemic. I felt 2019 was better than 2020 but did not have 2021, lost their membership draw and don’t wait in lines especially in the middle of a pandemic

Also quick opinion in Nilerzzz & Millerzzz. Not that great. Decent sweet stouts.
Would not give up any whales for these.
    Just my opinion of course.
    But tickers gotta tick.

Everyone has their opinion. But 2019 nillerzzzzz is top 2 vanilla stouts I’ve had it’s better than 2021 handjee, haven’t had other years handjee. Dribblezzzz is probably their best stout and is fantastic with 2021 nillerzzzz killlerZzzz being their second best stout which both are world class stouts.

Ok. ‘21 handjee wasn’t that great either. Bruery Vanilla Villian was the last vanilla stout that excited me.
Will have Brad’s Beyond Forever b2 in a couple days. That sounds pretty good.
Will follow up if it’s really impressive.
Honest Disclaimer: I’m not easily impressed.

I'd agree that Forager's stuff hasn't been as impressive as its hype, although Nillerz Killerz did meet expectations.

I think the switch to those fancy, black, screen-printed bottles is when they blew up. So much of beer hype has too much to do with packaging and presentation, and not the contents therein.

Regular ADWTD should be retired at this point. I don't know if Gabe will ever make a single barrel variant of ADWTD anytime in the near future or ever. Seconding what someone else said, last one was a bottle in the box set in 2017.

Curious as to where you saw this close? From most trading groups on FB, people can’t seem to get rid of Horus at any more than slightly above cost. They’ve long been trashed on various beer trading platforms & have the largest membership drop rate that I’ve seen people actively report…well maybe with exception of future MT given the loss of all their non-SoCal locations

the set has sold for 400-500 multiple times, closer to 400-450 lately. KBBS is roughly 400ish in sales. Sorry to use numbers but it’s just easier. Haven’t seen many trades on the set

As far as horus goes they have occasional valuable beers, people drop because of all of the meh to decent overpriced beer you need to pay for to get the amazing beers (I was a member in the past and dropped)

I'm a big Forager fanboi here, and I'd say pretty much the opposite about their hype/value in relation to their packaging switch. Their stuff doesn't carry huge value any more (most bottles are ~100 these days) — certainly way less than their stuff went for a couple years. The drop in value seems to have coincided with the packaging switch...which, more importantly, I think also coincided with them just making way more BA beers than they used to.

agreed. Their hype has been steadily declining. They had more hype with the normal bottles and painted on letters than they do now with the matte.
