Good day BAs! Well, we're off to a chilly start, on the cusp of rain and snow - I don't know which to root (third verb definition) for. Since I'm not going outside today, it makes little difference. Today's New Breakfast Beer, another from the backlog which has built up in my reefers:

At nearly five months old, it's relocating from the west coast "back east" as the hops die off. Still, it's not bad, just overpriced. Rating 3.5, rDev -1.7%

Wow, Wallenpaupak is super cheap near where we live . . . what'd you pay for it?

Morning, BAs! I think I'll join @Ozzylizard with a breakfast beer.

Cheers! Not sure if War Metal Wednesday is going to become a thing - I suspect not - but that's what I've got "spinning" today.

Wow, that's weird. Was it a single can? 4-packs around here are $14-15, sometimes a little higher.

Hoppy hump day advocates and a Wednesday that feels like spring here. Mild and sunny. Enjoyable.

    Pilsner Urquell it is then.

    Cheers!

Back to back post. I don’t like this. Maredsous Tripel and its 10%. Quite different from Urquell before but really good too.

Hey, been a while since I had a La Trappe Dutch beer. The quad particularly. Now that I see you post here this should be a next purchase of mine.

Speaking of the Devil ... ! I was thinking along a same line when I saw the Maredsous. In the way that I should get some Maredsous next time I see it.
La Trappe quad is a good idea too!
    Cheers!

Grolsch Krachtig Kanon (powerful cannon). Not great, but it is powerful.
Happy with it since I'm in isolation from Sunday with not manny beer options. Simple cold turned out to be covid. No big problem. Feeling fine, plenty of space outside and no people for miles around where I'm staying.
    Cheers!

Returning with a second cellar pour, this one a relative baby at exactly one year since it was bottled.

    Founders Nemesis

Cellar review here. WBAYDN treatment, this is my first beer I intentionally cellared for improvement. It has improved, with the harsh malt and pine bitterness mellowed with the year in the bottle. This changed from a beer I would pass on to a beer I would purchase and age intentionally.

I've enjoyed so much, I'm down to 3-4 oz and trying to complete this post before it's all gone. Well done Founders.

May return later today for a second from home or perhaps a trip to The Garage.

Watched this yesterday, appreciated more than at the theatre 26 years ago.

This seems like an appropriate beer for a gray New England day as the snow starts to fall.
