    It's Saturday night here in Oz, and I do recall that Saturday night's the night for fighting, so let's go, BA!

    Tonight's bout features Ever Grain's Animal I Am, a heavyweight contender weighing in at 12.3% ABV and wearing the 473ml aluminium shorts coloured a milky, opaque yellow. It's trained by the legendary @TurkeysDrinkBeer.

    In the ring it leads with a big alcoholic aroma with some quick moving pineapple in the background, and follows up with a straight cross of warming booze and slight, fruity notes.

    In its corner is a full and sticky mouthfeel and a lingering, bitter aftertaste.

    After the final beer there's an overwhelming sense of exhausted satisfaction. After all, I just went the full distance with this beast of a beer.

    Hello and happy weekend to all advocates, I’m thinking we have earned or, in all likelihood deserved some beers.

    Starting it with Guinness West Indies Porter. Great one! I don’t purchase it often but I should definitely…

    Weather forecast is supposedly cloudy and gloomy for those two days. Not so much going on either, so I guess beers and home chores will do.

    Can't sleep, downed an Alpha King that tastes old as hell. Not doing it, moved on to a 4 noses foeder aged dunkel. Still meh. At least Boondock Saints doesn't disappoint.

    It was a simultaneous start to the thread but I merged them asap.

    Thanks, we’re fairly spoiled with anything European, though Aussie or American beers are a bit more tricky to find, or much pricer and found on web shop.

    I like Coopers Pale ale and others. Always a fine Aussie brewery from the best city in OZ: Adelaide. :grinning:

    [​IMG] Thanks @AzfromOz for getting us going. This is the DDH version of this flagship beer. Loaded with Galaxy and yes as juicy as it looks. Todays storm starts as rain and is supposed to cool and give 5-10 inches of heavy snow. We shall see. Cheers all.

    Good morning (at least where I am) @AzfromOz @Shanex and @JamFuel ! Not often I get to join my international virtual bar-mates. Boy's basketball games were canceled because of impending snow and Mrs DavetotheB is away for the weekend so I'm partaking in a rare a.m. brew. This is the perfect speed for me-Bells Light Hearted.
