    Nope. Where I live is pretty far north in the U.S. But, unless we get someone from Saskatoon, the odds are pretty good that I'm shipping south.

    I'm tempted because you guys are a lot of fun, but I'm untempted when I look at how much beer I have. I swear I'm still finding beer from BIFs past lurking in various corners.

    I also just joined another beer club, this time in Kiribati. @BBThunderbolt gets one guess as to which one it is...

    Sorry, but I'm following my typical pattern again - I'm out this round.

    My biggest focus this spring has been getting to Boston healthy and ready to race for the first time in two and a half years. Unfortunately, just getting to Boston now is shaky. Been injured for a month and a half. Thanks to PT, I'm back running, but that shit is expensive. I think I need to reconcile after mid-April and figure things out moving forward. I don't feel like I can make any commitments before that.

    I look forward to watching the chaos unfold though.

    I will also add some clarifying information when the Hints and Hauls thread (the official thread of the BIF) goes live. At that point, there's no point in rehashing any of the "You must be this big of a beer nerd to ride this train," but it's a good place to summarize the requirements, dates, and any pairing hints/restrictions I might disclose.

    It is also where I will solicit information from new members. But to get ahead of the game (and for anyone else considering joining, like @SFACRKnight ), what I request of every participant is the following:

    Real Name
    Shipping Address
    *Any shipping preferences or differences, such as a PO Box for USPS, or C/O at a business
    T-Shirt Size
    Beer Likes
    Beer Dislikes (including any hard "NO!)
    Allergies
    Swag Preferences (e.g. "Please no more glassware or my wife will leave me!")
    Any Blackout Dates (e.g. "I will be out of town from 3/21-3/28.")
    Anything Else of Note

    Once pairings are set and confirmed by the BIF Council, I will send out all of that information for a sender's specific target. (I also provide it upon request for ninjas.)
