    I am drinking Duvel Tripel Hop Citra; and today is the day I was born a few decades ago. In a field of hops? Maybe? Think the real story is actually a clinic in this town but I like the first version better.

    Good morning Advocates,
    this is another nice beer from my country that is part of a single hop line, called "Perfect", dedicated by this award-winning Agricultural Brewery, located in the north of Italy.
    I drank it yesterday, I took two lines of notes and now I have a second to add it to the database, I put it here with a couple of pictures (with and without flash).
    Birrificio Agricolo Indipendente Crak (ITA) - PERFECT GALAXY - Double Dry Hopping Double Ipa (8%)

    As soon as the can is opened, it immediately smells tropical and ripe orange.
    Poured is much more hazy than I expected .. Dense and impenetrable orange.
    Let's say one aspect that was not love at first sight.
    Foam of little consistency (even when pouring vertically), it disappears by itself almost completely in a short time.
    In the mouth an extreme fruity: notes of papaya, mango, grapefruit and oranges prevail.
    The body is actually full and holds up a truly rich fruity drink.
    The finish is not very bitter, but it is perceived on the tongue while a slight "tingle" is felt in the palate, as when drinking an orange juice (of quele verre, squeezed orange, not soft drink) all in one gulp.
    Particularly, I've heard more balanced stuff from them, but if the actual intent was to bring out the distinctive traits of Australian hops, the goal was hit.

    This looks like an interesting brew. I had a collaboration beer from Crak last year and it was great.

    Thanks for sharing with us all these European craft beers. I hope you are enjoying Virtus' new roster with Hackett and Shengelia :wink:

    Good morning BAs and thanks to @beergoot for getting us going this morning. I slept in late this overcast morning…the dogs have been walked and fed, the dishwasher loaded…it’s coffee time - KBS Hazelnut:

    Bottled 1/27/22. Poured at 52° straight outta one of my “wine” chillers. I like this variant. Strong coffee, hazelnut and chocolate. I’ll buy more next time I’m out beer shopping.

    Currently, it’s 68° and gloomy outside. Later, we’ll take the dogs to the Tuesday morning market in Gulfport before the forecast rains set in this afternoon. Cheers y’all and cheers to @Shanex !
