NBS BIF #15 Sign Up Thread

Speaking of Iqaluit, the brewery there has begun shipping merchandise Canada wide. Sadly, not beer yet. I generally like to include at least one beer with either a glass or shirt form a brewery, but an exception can be made for something like this.

But, there is a new-ish brewery in Toronto owned in part by a woman from Nunavut. Some of their beers have names recalling her background. These can find their way south, or north, or east, or west….

It's with a heavy heart that I must bow out of this one. I've gone back and forth literally 10 times a day, and with some recent news about work and expected travel in the near future, I just don't think it would be a good idea for me. Although I was originally worried about the time necessary to research and pick the correct beers, I'm now worried about having the appropriate amount of time to actually play detective in the hints and hauls thread.

I have 3 conferences across August and September, but if the next one occurs in October or November, I should be able to make that one work.

I'm going to linger, and may even throw out an LIF or otherwise ninja box, but It wouldn't be fair for me to commit full-force this round.

I would love to visit the "true north" one day. I still don't have a passport I should probably get on that as I think it is necessary for domestic flying soon.

 

Unfortunate but understandable, as someone who has also had to bow out at times.

 

True, I just figured a passport would be a good easy one to have since we hope to cross the border someday, kill two birds with one stone .
