NBS BIF #15 Sign Up Thread

@superspak hasn't confirmed; he said he was leaning towards yes.

@Dimidiata strongly suggested no, but I think she's wrong. She has too much California beer, and not enough New England beer.

I also have not heard from @FrankenMiller or @TheDoctor , so I'm assuming they're out this round. (Still time to change that, though!)

I think @Beersnake1 hasn't officially confirmed yet either (am I wrong?). He's also working to bring an old friend back to BA and the BIF. I 100% support this effort, and recommend everyone prepare their shelves for glassware just in case.

 

Because I don't Millennial very well, Google docs/spreadsheets/calendars have kicked my ass. I know that's embarrassing. I'm simply more comfortable with Excel (even though I'm rusty), and for the BIFs, I use OpenOffice (free MS Office for those not in the know).

Sure, due to my profession in the sandwich delivery industry, MS Office is only like 10 bucks, but I pretty much have to do that every time I move or get a new computer - and I move every two years, on average (I think my count of unique places I've lived, not counting repeat visits, is up to 20 ... ). So it's just easier to stick with OpenOffice.

That reminds me: I need to cancel my Adobe+ trial ...

My, how the BIF times have changed:

Only one participant each from PA, NJ, and MI, traditionally some of our most active states (along with CA and WA).

We have a notable New England presence, which has been typical for a while now. It just means my boxes are less impressive by comparison than they used to be.

Naw, I'll keep it open until the end of the day. I'm still working from home, so I have all of tomorrow to set the pairings, open the thread, etc.
