If nothing else, I can follow instructions. Sadly, I often choose not to, just stating that I can. If I want. You know.
Anyway, after 111 glorious pages run amok, @Roguer asked that follow up LIF activity be moved over here. So if you caught the arsenal that @JayORear launched on my porch over in BIF 14, this is the first of those beers.

Poured transparent amber color (seriously transparent!) and crowned with a 4 finger head that dissipated into a pillowy mound and left glass sheeting lacing. They nailed the appearance.
The aroma is wonderful, if you like this sort of thing. Bready malts, some herbal, maybe grassy and a touch bitter from I am guessing either the hops or the yeast and hops mixed. Enticing aroma.
The taste leads with those bready/biscuit like malts and transitions into a hoppy bite towards the swallow. Somewhere in between some black pepper makes it's presence known and those grassy herbs as well. The Hop bite was unexpected, but now that I've had a few sips, I like the close - it almost cleans the palate before your next sip.
The feel, well, the carbonation wa present the entire drink so it was lively, The mouth feel was ideal, I'm not sure how it could be done better, just a pleasure to drink.

While it's not been officially confirmed, I do believe my target resides to the south and east of me. More south, or more east, you ask? I really couldn't say at this point.

 

I just took possession of a 6er from what I consider the premier local brewery of my city of record. Said 6er was curated by an employee of said brewery, with instructions to be biased towards freshness. I haven't yet received instructions as to what sort of beers my target appreciates, yet, but there will definitely be some of these beers in what I blow up their porch with.

I’m also Coronaeus on Untappd. I started logging beer on Untappd after logging beers here, but sometimes get recently consumed stuff in there faster.
