Those of you using Yahoo email have probably run into issues receiving emails from our servers, which may've resulted in losing access to your BeerAdvocate account. In a nutshell, Yahoo has temporarily suspended our server's sending IP addresses due to some users reporting emails from us as spam versus simply unsubscribing (one-click) from a service that they signed up for. Yahoo is also known for being a pain in the ass when it comes to handling email issues and this isn't isolated to BA. Services associated with Yahoo, such as: AIM, AOL, Frontiernet, Netscape, Rogers, Verizon, Ymail, and several others are also impacted. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about this other than wait it out, hope that Yahoo releases the temporary suspension, block Yahoo domains from registering, and ignore them when sending mass emails/updates until this has been resolved by Yahoo. In the meantime, the only solution for users is to use a non-Yahoo email address to regain full-access to your account. If you're logged in, simply update your email here. If you're not logged in, contact us with your username, current email, and new email and I'll make the change for you. (Don't create a new account.) Sorry that Yahoo sucks.
