I'm having a crowler of Big Fish DIPA from Somers Point Brewing with my pan seared swordfish. Finally made it down the shore for the first time since early January. Cheers to the weekend, BAs!

 

Grilling some pizzas while trying not to freeze and enjoying a Friday night beer.

Cuts from three albums I listened to at work today.

 

Wise man blissed out mango tangerine neipa. This was fantastic. Aromas and flavors of tangerine, mango, passion fruit, papaya, lime, berries, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass. Light bitter finish. Creamy med+ body. Some sticky hops and light lingering resin drying. Mild hop burn and warmth. Juicy Aromas. Smooth soft finish. Great Citra and motueka hops profile. Have loved all their neipa so far. 4.22

Worked later than normal tonight and emerged from my home office to grab a big boy beer and watch the St. Peter's / Purdue game with my wife. I've never heard of St. Peter's before and what they lack in size they make up for in shooting and scrappiness. I don't need to say who I'm cheering for in this one because "ya'all" know that answer already.



And leave it to the American Brewers to bastardize a Belgian style.

Transient Well Ripped DIPA (Motueka/Mosaic). Been all local breweries (45 min or less away) to me tonight and I've enjoyed each and every one. Pretty lucky to have such a great beer scene around me. Venturing out a bit further to Chicago only yields better results. This is sadly my last of this beer. Dank cannabis, blue cheese, freshly-squeezed lime, candied lime peel, lemon zest, ripe blueberry, ripe pineapple, pine resin, fresh cut grass.

 

I was getting depressed. No Hamm’s!
