Rumor is that the bottles won't be ready in time for Winter Solstice, but we won't know until the 18th when the final list is released.

Kuhnhenn Senior is quite a guy, but I can assure you that's not the last bottle. Glad they showed you a good time.

Couple questions. In 2007, were the bottles released 6.3 ounces? I know the 2010 solstice had 2007 bottles but I think it is safe to assume those labels were made shortly prior to the party.

Also does anyone remember if the raspberry eisbock they had on draft that year was a new vintage or was in fact the 2007?

I can verify that 2004 and 2007 releases at least included 6.3oz bottles, because I have one of each.

Raspberry Eisbock's incredibly smooth and so far removed from tasting like a beer, Im surprised it's considered one. Blood red, sweet, viscous, and tastes nowhere as boozy as the ABV suggests. It's next to impossible not to enjoy.

2007 tasted like chocolate raspberry malt balls when I had it in April.

The bottle I had ('07) tasted like horrible plastic and was just terrible. Like someone just boiled plastic and added some red. I'd like to try it again though because from the reviews and from personal experiences of people I've talked to it shouldn't have tasted like that (duh).

If it does happen to be released again soon I'll definitely try again, because like the OP suggests, it sounds like a dream.

I was gifted this as an extra back when I was a wee newbie. Absolutely phenomenal beer.

I traded for one a few months ago. I gave up an Armand&Tommy geuze for the eisbock and a few other limited beers

sounds like it will eventually show up, i've been wanting to try this forever too:

"Sorry to say will not be releasing the Raspberry Eisbock for This winter Solstice. We hoped it would be ready. We want this beer's next release to be perfect. We are going to let it age some more."

Hoping its not a St Patricks or Summer Solstice release.... but it's bound to be one or the other.
