    Happy Thursday my BA brothers from other mothers! A new day has begun on the Pacific coast of America while the old one draws to a close on the Pacific coast of Australia. It's almost like we live on a rotating ball that's hurtling through space...

    And speaking of balls, I did not have one drinking this beer from French Brewery La Debauche. As per my review here it's like a West Coast IPA with all the caramel removed from the malt bill, leaving an unbalanced, bitter beer. But I can think of worse things to do than drink a nothing-more-than-ok beer on a Thursday night, so here's cheers to being alive and to all the BAs out there no matter which part of the ball you live on, and whether you enjoy this beer or not!

    Just got back from my first “drawing class” which will be every Thursday morning from 9 to 11am.

    Mostly older and retired folks, all nice and me.

    Drinking St Bernardus Abt 12 and bellow what I did:

    Thank you, we’ll see where I go from there, and I was just equally sad about Bruce Willis’ brain disorder diagnosis I heard yesterday. Grew up watching his movies like many. I only knew he had stepped back quite a bit from cinema or Hollywood recently, this isn’t good.

    Lunch beer at home today - “Coriolanus” DIPA by New England Brewing Co., single hopped with Nelson Sauvin:

    Opaque deep gold; fluffy two fingers of white foam; long cap retention; heavy ring; bands of soapy lace. Oniony/cat pissy mango nose. Skunky melon and tropical fruit; strong bitterness; firm malt base; grape must finish. Medium light body; moderate minus carbonation; no astringency. Overall, drinkable but I find the nose off-putting; I do like the bitter linger.

    4.75 | 3.5 | 3.75 | 4.0 | 3.75
    Score: 3.78 rDev - 14.3%

    Another sunny mild albeit gusty day here. I’ll probably do some more cleanup in the camper. Cheers and have a great day y’all!

    Who Cooks For You. Hazy Pale Ale from Jackie O's.
    In the background some Paella (Spanish dish with rice and leftovers) is resting, wrapped in a newspaper. Probably a Spanish newspaper like El Pais would work best for this. But since Holland used to be ruled by Spain for 150 years (ages ago), a Dutch newspaper works fine too :slight_smile:

    Hi there Advocates. Thanks @AzfromOz for todays thread. I'm enjoying this Untitled Art Juicy IPA Version 12. Very fresh and citrusy. 22 days old. Good pine and some hop bitterness at the finish. The great horned owl is back in my yard again in a stand of pine & spruce and is hoot hoo hoo hooing away. It usually stays for about 60-90 min. Haven't got a good clear pic of it yet but will keep trying. Cheers!
