7th Sun Brewing Headbanger IPA and an amazing brisket sandwich....oh, and greens!!!!

 

Another decidedly awesome fresh can of sauce from Burlington Beer Co.

My review could simply be, "wow".

Canned 03/15. I don't know that I've ever had the Crystal variety of hops before, but I'm assuming this is an excellent example as I very much enjoy. Perhaps similar characteristics to galaxy, tho that's just a hunch based on my tastes, and I've yet to research the strain's genetic background if it's not cloaked/proprietary.





So while I was out of town on Monday, my neighbor witnessed these scumbags following an Amazon delivery van around my neighborhood, stopping at each house, including mine, and stealing multiple packages.

The police immediately responded and caught the losers on the next street over. All packages have been returned. In addition to my neighbor who witnessed/called, another neighbor/friend's extensive camera & home automation system (he geeked out on installing recently) caught images of the thefts from multiple nearby properties. I'm thinking this is pretty slam dunk case, and very thankful I live among such fantastic friends/neighbors.

 

Pure muck savages they are. Multiple crimes multiple times. Those little cameras pay for themselves in one shot. Good for you!

Cueni Brewing Hopscotch IPA.....

 

Had a great run this afternoon, quick 6 miler to keep the legs loose, ideal overcast conditions @40 degrees. Felt surprisingly great following yesterday's rather aggressive hike of 7 smallish mountains on mixed rock and ice/snow (10.6 miles, 3,800' vert @22:21min/mi avg) in my local Belknap Range.

Enjoying this mediocre Kölsch from a mediocre local brewer. It's tasting just fine!




I'm not nearly as smart as @eppCOS so I go directly to the sauce for recovery. Kidding... I made an avocado toast, protein shake, and waited 59 minutes first!

 

Like ten years back (when Pliny only showed up every two weeks and was limit one), and I wanted a fix but couldn’t get one, I would grab a fresh bomber of AleSmith IPA from Trader Joe’s for $4.99. I never see this beer anymore though, and even wrote to Alesmith telling them so. They sent me a fresh-ish 4 pack and a glass (this was months ago). Haven’t had one since. Cheers.

 

Porch pirates are the worst of the worst. On the same day that my friend had a 2k phone shipped to him, he also had an action figured delivered; he lived deep in a condo complex, so it’s not as if people were following a truck or eyeing boxes while driving around (it had to be an inside job). Either way, the thieves got the action figure instead of the phone. Dumb asses. Imagine if they put the effort they do into stealing into getting a job.

 

Loving that Half Acre is in California now (add to the list another brewery that I once traded for back in the day that now has California distro). This is well balanced and just solid:

Halle's Ales in Seattle is closing after 39 years, and some friends and I made a final visit last weekend. Grabbed a mixed 6er, and here is Juicy Goose.
