Check out that f*cking Tonewood glass!!! I am crammed tight with glasses, but that baby is jumping into the rotation, especially for anything in lagerville. Magnificent. And this Pine Barrens honey ….. I am seeing chicken and waffles SLATHERED in this honey. Just wow.

Jon, you absolutely ANNIHILATED these two boxes. Thank you SO MUCH for this bounty.

Now I’m gonna dig through your clues and see how badly I embarrassed myself by not detecting that I was your target. That’s for later this evening.

Thank gosh they made it @ovaltine, I knew you’d have a lot of glasses but never seen you post a mug so I went for it. I hope the honey does you well. Oh and there’s a pair of tonewood sunglasses in there too if you missed them yard work gear.

Oh and we have a contractor coming tomorrow anyway so I’ll ask him about the porch.

Oh yea and the mystery beer is 6.9% forgot to label it. Hope you enjoy them all!

I am a bad BIFer. I sent out my first box today, and it didn't even meet the minimums.

Plus, since you said I should do a thing, I did the thing.

 

#1: on a hunting trip for sunglasses. Never thought I’d post that on BA.

#2: that Tonewood glass is ….. perfect. I don’t typically go to perfect, but that is what that glass is.

#3: thanks for the heads up on the mystery beer. I may work that in to my lineup on NBW this weekend - tomorrow has the Tonewood fresh hops and the Kane imperial brown ale.

#4: my appreciation for that Carton 077 can’t be emphasized enough - it is a perfect IPA for my palate.

IIRC, our first direct interaction was on a “Is Heady a NEIPA or not” thread that you lead, and I did a side-by side from the can and from the glass with Heady and fell in line with you.

I thought you were awesome then, and I think you’re awesomer now, which is almost impossible. I can’t wait to try the beers tomorrow.

I have to admit the cork magnet beer caps have been at loss

 

There is a brewery in the PNW that is very popular, and that I mock almost mercilessly, both for their preferred styles, but moreso for their and marketing. I spent actual money on beers from that brewery last Saturday. They are now cradled in the sweet, soft, safe arms of the USPS, venturing Eastward.

 

The first part of the third box from @colts9016 - details later but 4 BA stouts (I am so geeked) 2 IPAs and 1 sour. One of those I already opened.

the next part is the food and swag- check out the pepper beef sticks and jalapeño lime jerky! Protein is good! Two variants of popcorn, a local honey (waffles and chicken you say?) and two cordial candies. I may finally know what a huckleberry tastes like!
Oh, and the toque! It’s still dropping below freezing so that will be used soon!

Cold IPA. The color worried me a bit, but it was unfounded. This was a tasty IPA that I didn’t want to wait any longer to drink.
