NBS BIF #15 Hints and Hauls: Was it Over When the Canadians Bombed BIF #14? HELL NO!

I had no idea what to do with your color wheel, man. So, I'm sure your clues in BIF #14 made me feel the same way that my clues in BIF #15 made people feel:

 

You were one that I had on my "soft watch" list (@Beersnake1 was who I was CERTAIN was my sender after his first few clues), but I convinced myself there was NO WAY that my target could be my sender IN THE SAME BIFfer. So I eliminated you, and was thinking my sender was @Coronaeus (and I was gonna have to dig through the video clues) or maybe @Mbgreg.

As I've said before, I'm a trained professional.

PS: I have the sunglasses. They will be featured today in my posts in this thread and in NBW.

PPS: I'm securing some more beer that is local tomorrow, with a box or two that will go out early this coming week.

And then I'm gonna get serious.

 

I was absent from the thread for 30-ish hours and came back to 6+ pages to sift through and 2 boxes of beer.

In other words, just another day in the BIFfer machine.

 

That was clever!

 

My original intention with the videos was to have the episode numbers correspond to the letters in @colts9016 first name. So ‘J’ would be episode 10, ‘A’ would be episode 1, etc. I messed up right off the bat because I had used an incorrect episode list for Seeing Things and didn’t check it closely enough when posting it. It was labeled as episode ‘7’ on the YouTube clip but ‘10’ where I had looked. I was going to use Season 1 episodes for the first name, and Season 2 videos for the family name. So, when I noticed my error after the 2nd or 3rd clip, I finished them up quickly and went the more conventional route.

Ah well…

 

My hints for @jonphisher .....

Hint #1: I've received beer from @MacMalt and sammyjaxx from The Garden State. To be honest, that's a pretty empty clue.

Hint #2: St Peter's, from Jersey City, was BLOWING UP the NCAA tournament when I posted this. That's not a clue that you make a call out from, but it's a pretty big bread crumb.

Hint #3: This is true, Jon's highest rated beer on BA is Edward from Hill-Farmstead at 4.85. Another bread crumb.

Hint #4: A bigger bread crumb, since I've exchanged beer packages with a LOT of you, thusly (that's right, thusly) I eliminated a LOT of you.

Hint #5: This was directly aimed at Jon, and I was fairly certain this would be the basis for a call out. He had made a post about Heady and whether it's truly a NEIPA or not, and I did a side-by-side in that thread, IIRC. We had a really good exchange in that thread, which made a big impression on me - I don't participate in many threads outside of NBW, WBAYDN, and BIF H&H threads because there's usually a lot of "drama," which I dislike bigly. I prefer my beer time to be fun, and drama is usually NOT fun. Jon carried no drama in that thread, and as I said, that made a big impression on me, so I was glad to have him as a target.

Hint #6: Bare Hands and Transient are my "locals" (Bare Hands is 8 minutes from my house, Transient is 40 minutes away). Anyone that's been my target in a BIF has received lots of beer from these two breweries, and Jon hasn't had any from either brewery, at least per his BA profile. That's about to change. Very, VERY bigly.

Hint #7: James and I were drinking ZD. Jon has no beers listed from Three Floyd's on his BA profile. That also will change, in a big, dark way.

I don't know what my next clue would've been - probably something aimed toward the Chicago breweries I'm going to hit Jon with in a later shipment to balance the Northern IN/Southwestern MI blitzkrieg that's headed his way very soon.

 

I got very skeptical in the side by side hint, especially when someone said "how is this relevant?" cause it immediately was relevant to me.

It is funny I too have been less active in the other threads since I've found NBW thread for the exact same reason. Beer time should be fun time, and that's what this is.

 

I'm going to spoil @FBarber's scheme: He and @Roguer teamed up to antagonize me as much as they possibly could. The person who was most amused by my suffering is Frank's target.
