    Afternoon, Advocates - even if the gray New England drizzle has it looking like evening already.

    I didn't overly love Sabro TDH Wandering Into the Fog the first time I had it (certainly not in comparison to the base beer). With two months of age on it, it's still quite dank, but less "dirty" and earthy, more juicy. A much better beer overall.

    Yes, some NE IPAs (and varietals) can definitely benefit from sitting, at least a little bit. Still not my favorite from Abomination, but definitely drinkable.

    And after drinking this one, that will become a reality. This is an absolutely delicious barrel aged imperial stout courtesy of @BigIronH. Thanks Harley, it got shuffled back in the fridge when we moved, my wife thought was a bottle of wine. It tastes amazing, I’m going to review it on NBW. Cheers Harley.

    Central Waters Brewer's Reserve Rye Barrel Stout

    Full review in the New Beer Sunday #893 thread. Bottom line, this is even more wonderful than my CW BA Vanilla Stout from yesterday. Central Waters is an excellent brewer!

    Great WXRT set, still behind on posts having only seen the one @mschrei tagged me on, so my apologies if either of these from the first hour were already featured this weekend.

    Paul Carrack, in his brief tenure in Squeeze after the first time Jools left. Squeeze is one of my favorite bands, and worthy of accompanying this amazing pour.
