Thanks man!! Yeah, I think so - I came up with tune and thought that footage would work with it, that's Quabbin Reservoir, one of my favorite places. Those pics were taken when me and my daughter spent a day bike riding around, and those are indeed sweet memories. Now that spring is here, we'll probably need to do another trip out there with our bikes in tow. Cheers!!

 

Just browned up a bacon wrapped pork loin, and now it's in the oven. Knocking off a Pacific while it's cooking. Then, over to watch Rasslemania!

Still some snow up here, and ice on the lake. Campfire nights will be here soon. Can't wait.

Hey there, BAs. It's a rather crummy day - weather-wise. I can't wait to be able to drinks some beers outside on a Sunday afternoon. Extra Foggy is a TIPA collaboration between Magnify and Abomination Brewing. This is quite a beer! Hopped with Citra Incognito, Pacfic Jade and Cascade Salvo in the boil and triple dry hopped with Citra, Pacific Jade, Nelson, Enigma, Cascade Cryo. Love it. Cheers!

 

Bought this for a review, not my normal purchase, that said it's very satisfying.

Hello NBS!
I know you early starters are probably finishing up but for me Im cooking and just getting started. Im going to to start light and work my way up to a big bomb so here it goes. Beer #1 is:
Koshihikari Echigo Beer, Japanese Rice Lager.
Pouring a crystal clear pale yellow with quite a large snow white head descending to a thin ring with spotty lacing.
Aroma is rice krispees, some bread dough and lemon zest.
Taste follows sweet bread notes, crisp clean rice, a touch of bitterness and some lemon.
Sweet up front rapidly deteriorates into a drying simple finish on the light body. Nice carb throughout.
As you would expect nothing mind blowing but absolutely brewed to be an accompaniment to food, particularly spicy. After the first couple gulps I kept thinking how well this would pair with wasabi (sushi) which can be challenging. Yup its a higher quality than many AAL's I would suspect. Now, is it worth 3.69 a can?
Absolutely not, but Im glad I tried it.
Its hitting the spot and quenching right now. Back to prepping dinner. I'll be back soon. Cheers!
