    A beautiful monster is what I tend to call beers like this. No, it's not Celebrator or the much-missed Samuel Adams Doppelbock, but it is near those stalwarts. I love the offsetting dryness to the heavy residual sugar notes. The overall dense, earthy malt sweetness nice counterbalances the alcohol presence. Depth, complexity, balance - this beer does the style justice.

    No Fun, a NEIPA from German brewery Fuerst Wiacek (6.8%).

    This makes for an enjoyable NEIPA with a good balance of sweet, fruity and bitter, slightly resinous notes, featuring quite a similar flavor profile to the last one, while the zesty citrus notes really stand out particularly here.

    Sings the Harold Arlen Song Book and King Titus. Amazing beer, one of the best long running series to ever document the great early songwriters of pop.

    I'm now enjoying one of the last Heady's I have left from our February trip. @DoctorZombies and I spoke quite a bit about Alchemist beers yesterday. We both feel that Heady has changed in the last 2-3 years and doesn't "shine quite as brightly" politically correct, for us as it did in the past. If it was "pick an Alchemist beer" I definitely would pick Crusher #1 then Heady and Focal 3rd. If I'm not mistaken I believe Doc would pick Focal, then Crusher then Heady. The can I'm drinking now I rolled for 10-20 seconds prior to opening and it seems to taste more old school (awesome). I'm curious to hear @TheIPAHunter's opinion or anyone else's that has had it for the last 3-5 years. Cheers mates!!
