Moving on with a huge Classic from our Canadian friends. Had this before but never reviewed it? :astonished: This shah never gets old either, whatta great beer!

Everytime I see the name of this beer it reminds me of Joe Pesci ... (and in this clip, with an appearance by @BigIronH 's avatar ):

    Prost! :nerd::beers: !!

Have a good Tuesday. Was a pretty busy work day. Now we are out on the island. Went to lookout tavern for dinner. They have a huge sushi menu.

Lawson little sip ipa. Amazing ipa. Grapefruit, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass. Good sized pine/rind bitterness. Lt med body bready/sticky/resins. Fairly crisp resin drying lasts after the finish. Min astringency. Very vibrant and dank hops. Tastes like mosaic! Loved it. 4.35

[IMG]Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup:

    1) Boulevard Wheat (4.4%): A Wheat ale from Kansas City with flavors of lemon, yeast, and Belgian esters.
    versus
    2) Summit Cabin Crusher Kolsch-Style with Tan gerine (4.8%): A Kolsch-style beer from Minnesota with tangerine

    3) Summit Extra Pale ale (5.3%): An English pale ale from Minnesota that has smooth flavors of orange, flower, and earthy caramel.
    versus
    4) Summit Elderflower IPA (6.2%): An IPA from Minnesota with flavors of spiced caramel, pine, and flower. A smooth finish.
    versus
    5) Sierra Nevada’s Celebration Ale 2021 (6.8%): An older "Fresh-hop" holiday IPA from California that has flavors of red grapefruit citrus with spicy pine and caramel malts.
    (Mismatched the two Summit beers)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners:

    1) Boulevard Wheat
: An easy drinking wheat with subtle flavors of lemon, yeast, and subtle Belgian spices here which help it to stand out. I don't remember getting any yeast esters from this one in the past, but I enjoyed it.

    3) Summit Extra Pale Ale: Unexpectedly, one of my more interesting comparisons, because all were quite similar and have nearly identical malt profiles, but the difference lies in the hops. Summit EPA was more earthy and floral. Summit Elderflower IPA was more spiced caramel. Celebration was nearly identical to that, but a larger body.

The harpoon ufo is an underrated witbier. I've not had it for years but it's definitely better than I remember. Flavorful crisp and refreshing. Great yeast complexity. 3.9

Beer #1 was a New England-style IIPA, not brewed in New England. Beer #2 is an IIPA brewed in New England, not New England-style.

I just renewed mine today through my T Mobile account. They have offered it free 3 out of the past 4 years to subscribers. Can't beat it with a stick. Cheers to afternoon baseball.
