    Good evening everyone,
    just got home from work.
This is a truly enjoyable and rewarding drink (reading here and there, I really think many would appreciate):
Microbirrificio Opperbacco (Abruzzo, ITA) - ABRUXENSIS FRUTTI DI BOSCO (2021) - Farmhouse Wild Ales with berries (5.2%)

    33 cl. Bottle
On the label: "Best before: 11/2024"
On the nose fruity notes going on acidic (raspberry, cherry, red fruits).
When poured it looks like a rosé prosecco: evanescent foam, pale pink color, a lot of effervescence.
In the mouth you can find all the characteristics of "Abruxensis" (the much appreciated Farmhouse of the house. A wild ale made with raw materials from Abruzzo, using Saccharomyces and Torulaspora yeasts selected from local grapes in collaboration with the University of Teramo at the start of fermentation in their barriques that once contained Montepulciano wine from local cellars. Subsequently the inoculation of two strains of Brettanomyces yeasts takes place and the addition of the different local ingredients that will characterize the different variants, even if the basic version is really very pleasant ): very light body, with lively carbonation. The taste hides between the delicate notes of the farm (field grass, straw) that light sour note that almost recalls that of a white wine.
In this variant, the sweet impact of red fruit (I seem to recognize mainly blueberry and red currant) is counterbalanced with a slightly more acidulous note, for example, compared to the "Mandarins" or "Roots of Gentian" version.
However, astringency remains minimal and the light-heartedness of a simple, thirst-quenching and not at all banal drink prevails.
Understandably, some natural residue is present.
    Easy drink.
    Not trivial. Absolutely.

Just taking it easy and drinking Brewer's Blend, a blend of barrel aged imperial milk stout, bourbon barrel imperial stout, and imperial milk stout. I wish I could say this is a fantastic beer, but it's very much middle of the road.

Helloooo Advocates! Thanks @Roguer for todays thread. Last minute band rehearsal change leaves me free this eve so it's lunch time with BlackStack Piano Lessons DIPA. It's a very good compliment to the fusion chili ghost pepper jack cheese thingy I tossed together which is very spicy hot! The beer is gently sweet, juicy and light on it's feet. I had a real good time working last nite and the band, w/some homework, added a new tune.
Baseball season is here!! Woo Hoo! Cheers everyone!!

The remaining 8oz of last nights Speedway...poured it and said i wouldnt drink till after my 30min workout consisting of pushups, kettlebell swings, goblet squats and curls. Beer is fun and shit ,but building a strong body is much more important in addition yo my muay thai training. Can't be feeble and unable to defend your self in a fight.

Don’t forget exercises for the posterior chain (rear delts, middle and lower traps, lats, rhomboids, etc.). Other than lats, most are not showy muscles but will keep your shoulders and middle back strong and injury free. Most posterior chain muscles involve pulling type exercises.
