It was a big group. But, yeah. We were at Notch for 5-6 hours. Fun day

I just realized I have concert tickets in town next week. Going to be 10 minutes away from Brighton so I'll finally be able to check off visiting a Notch taproom. So damn excited to try a mliko pour.

I am also going to be in the area on Saturday for a show at the new Roadrunner.
Does Notch have any food options yet? Or does anyone have a good suggestion for dinner in that area? I know Lulu's and Lone Star Taco bar aren't too far.

Honestly you’ll enjoy both! I’d pick one of those. Em and I both enjoy lulus when we go

None of the food options at the Speedway are open yet. Your best bet is picking something up on the way there or having something delivered. Think I've seen a lot of folks get Frank Pepe's delivered from down the street at the Arsenal Mall. I think the only time I've brought food is when my friend picked up some fried chicken sandwiches at Underdog on his way from Brookline. Could also support two breweries at once by picking up some food from Brato.

Flatbread and Rail Stop are across the street. Recommend both for food and beer.

Across from Roadrunner, to be clear. Not across the street from Notch.

Word online is that the hummus place should be open soon, like this week soon.
And we chatted with Brad from Notch last Sunday who said the empanada place was getting close.
I wonder if Notch will stop allowing “outside food” when those places open, or if the fellow Speedway places will be “outside food” once Notch starts serving food in Brighton?

Whatever, I’m there for the beer and the vibe. I’ll figure out food later. Plenty of options, as mentioned here.

I thought I saw the hummus place open already? I definitely saw Tipping Cow open. Any food at the Sake joint?

Always wondered how that place was. Seems like it has weird hours, I feel like it’s not always open when I’m walking by.

Big Daddy's on Western Ave is a good option for food as well.
2 blocks away, pickup or delivery to Notch.
Great pizza, killer filet mignon tips sub!

I've talked to Chris many times since Brighton opened and he has consistently said that the Notch area will be BYOF. I hope that that's still the case going forward.

On that note, I just took my dog out and man, I'm jealous of @MattOC who I imagine will be posting pics from Brighton shortly. As long as the rain holds, it looks like a great day to be at a brewery.

It is unbelievable! In fact, I'll be having it tonight, at Notch, likely with a nice Gates of the West

What was in the Krug? If it’s Gus’ soda you may have to revoke your membership.

    Nice!

I may have to get these when I head there later.

This will be after High Roller Lobster at Idle Hands and going to the Grand Reopening at Doms…probably will walk a few extra miles today.
