    Well it's officially 1AM in Colorado, so that means all of the US is into tomorrow (or I guess it would be today?) So obviously that means I'm allowed to start another WBAYDN thread woop woop

    Anyways I'm just finishing my bomber of sapporo I picked up to try earlier, this one is serving double with the new beer weekend as I haven't actually had this one before, but I like it, not super off like some American lagers can be if you're not lucky. Only a little skunked, although it was brewed in Wisconsin so they don't get too much leeway there.

    What stuck out to me with this one is just the sweetness even compared to a coors Banquet it was sweet. Almost surprisingly so, but not necessarily in a bad way. It's a very malty beer that is for sure. Also a big beer so I'm checking out for the night. Have a good one and I'll see you all later cheers!

    Also @Shanex I missed out on yesterday's wbaydn, I know you'll be lurking in a couple hours so what's up with Stella in France and why'd it take so much research

    Wish I really knew, it’s as I said a good enough Belgian lager but @Beer-Panda made the same observation in the NL. Hard to find, harder than before.

    It all started because @tolar111 was drinking it and I commented on it, then it became some inside joke between us and went out of my way to purchase it.

    In all likelihood it’s not a beer I’m going to buy too often.

    Good day BAs! Thanks to @JZH1000 for starting today's thread! @Shanex - Stella we've seen around here is still in the green bottles but the stuff on tap is decent. Not good, but OK in a pinch.
    Well, it's time for a New Breakfast Beer, this rainy/snowy 33 degree morning, before I go back to my son's place to finish a project that's taken 'waaay too long. It's from @woemad in NBW BIF #15:

    Yep, that's a crowler of 6.9% IPA - good way to start the day. Unfortunately I couldn't drink it a few days ago when it arrived - contraindicated by the meds I was taking for a mycoplasma pneumonia infection. Overall, seems very sessionable but I suspect at 6.9% ABV it'll come back to haunt you. Rating 3.5, rDev -6.7%. I'm sure that had I been able to drink it when it arrived, I'd give it a higher rating.

    Good morning BAs! Chilly (for SWFL) 52° walk earlier this morning with the dogs. Morning chores done so it’s coffee time…Joining @tolar111 in a KBS variant, make mine Hazelnut:

    Bottled 1/27/22. Poured at 53°. I like the nuttiness; the coffee plays a minor role but enough to show up on the playbill. I’ll put this variant in the middle of the pack for variants I like.

    Re: Stella, I recently was reading an online article about the most purchased beer in our 50 states (Bud or Bud light dominated), and the article stated Stella was the top seller in Florida - go figure!

    Another sunny, low 70s low humidity day here in Sunshine City. I need to find a beach (read beach bar :sunglasses:) to hang at today. Cheers and have a super Sunday y’all!
