    Good day BAs! Off to another Spring-ish day here on the tundra of NW PA - damp, cool, and maybe some sun. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    Another example of small brewery goodness from the PNW, courtesy of @woemad and NBS BIF #15. Normally I only consume a bomber or (usually) less for breakfast but I can't allow these crowlers to go bad on me! Nice and piney! Rating 3.87, rDev -3.5%.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Soft, banana yellow body; opaque; thick, white head, foamy and sticky; stringy gobs of foam stick to the glass. Heavy aroma filled with notes of cloves, oats, and slight trace of lemon. Interesting taste; slightly citrus-like; white wine; a bit of grain; very little hop bitterness. Medium body with a light tickle on the palate; juicy in a way, slightly acidic in character.

    An interesting take on the kölsch, from its cloudy appearance to the citrus-like notes. Not exactly what I expect from the style, yet delicious none the less.
