Good afternoon BA's! Another warm spring day south of Asheville with temps in the low 70's.
Today's choice is a NEDIPA i picked up at Burial last Friday, definitely a juice bomb with a nice level of balancing bitterness. Disagree with the packaging this is "heavy resin" but is still very enjoyable.
Da Boss is listening to Amazon oldies today and heard a Ray Charles classic from 1954. But i actually first heard the tune from an all-star lineup known as the Honeydrippers back in the 80s.

Onto round 2, hanging with the same brew as #1 which is quite enjoyable!
Da Boss is still playing Amazon oldies and heard Stevie Wonder's Superstition which i remember having the 45 rpm of back in the 70's. This reminded me of Howlin' Wolf's I Aint Superstitious which is one of my favorites from the Wolf.

Back to culling the Firestone herd with a 2016 Sucaba. Boozy sweet with caramel, toffee and a hint of vanilla. There's something bitter in the aftertaste similar to wood tannins or leather. Not bad, we'll see where it heads as it warms from fridge temperature.
