Any chance any of these British beers make it to a firkin?

If so, with more British styles on lately, any thought on a cask ale festival?

I know Czech beer will always be a focus, but if lagers are my wife, British session ales (particularly on cask) are my mistress.

Yes, you absolutely can set this up in your home. I have a Lukr Faucet installed at my house. The set up is basically the same as a traditional tap system, but the pouring, the care, and the maintenance are a completely different animal. A little more work but totally worth it! As far as the cost goes, I’m really not too sure if I’m the guy to ask. I’ve been homebrewing and pouring drafts beers at my house for 30 years now, so I basically already had everything I needed. And my friend traveled to Lukr and bought me a faucet. I do think you can buy one online just not sure where. Good luck!

Notch just posted on Instagram about extra Krug club spots in Brighton and Salem. I emailed and was instantly sent a link to sign up. Pro rated at $130 for the year, I'm pretty pumped I was still able to get in after all!

I went to Notch today. Milk tube of the Tmavy, half liter or the Tmavy, Comorants was the standout for me. Wife had the bock & the dark mild.

Picked up a bunch of crowlers, spent way too much money, but I had an awesome time!

They poured you a milk tube? Or did you get a mliko pour?

Mliko pour, which is colloquially known as a milk tube (maybe)

Its not...milk tube is HR terminology that's succumbing the industry

    From Human Robot

“But, Human Robot wants to take that concept of Oktoberfest, and ramp it up, and throw in the Czech pouring tradition of the “milko” or “milk tube”, which has become the latest craze and fad in the craft beer industry.”

How is the parking at the Brighton spot? Do they have a lot? or is it street parking?

They have a lot, but it’s only 25 spots, maybe. There is street parking as well.

Think you might be cutting the source/quote short: HR took the Mlíko and applied it to the stange glass = Milktube

"Milk Tubes are Mlìkos for chugging. While we were hanging out with 20 or so brewers after Logjammin...filling 20 Mlìkos in traditional mugs Mugs took a long time and the foam was converting to liquid so the Milk Tube was born fast efficient and oh so delightful”

    ...
did Notch serve Mlíko via their kolsh glass

It seems like I’m doing it right. I had a “milk tube” which is a “mliko for chugging.”

If you are going on the weekend, you can park in the Charles River Community Health parking lot next door.

It needs to be in a tube in order to be a milk tube. You had a pour. Chris would not be happy if people were getting milk tubes at Notch.

It was packed at the speedway last night. Farthest away I’ve had to park yet.

Hope the British beers are a mainstay - outside of the smoky beers, which are all amazing, those three might be my favorite thing on tap there right now.

Milk tubes, eh. Not tradition and are an aerated glass of foam, as you can't pour from the bottom like you would with a Czech mug. We don't offer them, but if you know us and ask, we'll give one.

Indeed! Loving the British beers, but At the Cormorants is amazing!

And we'll be totally sober because it will amount to maybe 6 ounces of session beer. Haha.

    I'm in!
