    It's Bock season, and Bierkeller Bockbier has been released.

    Now in deluxe swing-top bottles. I like them a lot better than quart crowlers. Fresh and fruity, and smooth, it drinks too easy. I am all set to watch the Paris-Roubaix bike races this weekend.
    Might do some gardening, if the weather permits.

    Haven't seen anything by North in ages around here, they are great though. Northern Monk have become hard to find as well, although I managed to score a few brews recently. Also, English Bitter or not, I'm sure this would still be 5€ in Germany :rolling_eyes:.

    I mean, fuck, a bottle of London Pride is almost 4€ at the only place I can get it and that's what, a quid in the UK? @EmperorBevis

    Yeah, I enjoyed that one.

    Howdy all - work more or less done for today as i stare down another course coming in about a week+. Got my slow 5 miler in this morning, trying to sandwich long runs together, on either side, to get used to this mileage volume.

    Anyhoo - usual Na UA recovery choco-drink for now, good to have with some peanut butter and banana, and I'll be back with the real McCoy later.

    English brews overall seem to have scarcer in the last year or so, and they take longer to get here when they do. Brexit probably fucks that up. This one actually got released at Systembolaget, which explains the price. It would easily be double or triple in a webshop.

    Tails, a WCIPA from Spanish brewery Garage (6%).

    The brewery claims that Strata is a perfect hops for WCIPAs because of the dank, grapefruit notes, but to me a WCIPA is supposed to be bitter and resinous more than anything else and while there is some of that to this, it feels a little half-baked to me overall.

    I think they make pretty good beer overall, this is pretty good as well, just not great. I really enjoyed the Kettle Sours I've had by them so far.
