    I love this beer because it closely resembles the class Bamberg beechwood smoked beers from Brauerei Heller-Trum. Smoked beer doesn't need to be so forward, but nothing is worse than a beer being labeled 'smoked' and one can barely detect any smokiness. Fox Farm did a stand-up job with this beer.

    ...holed up in the 'Fortress of Solitude' this late Easter morning, enjoying a great BIF beer and listening to Gustav Mahler's 'Symphony No. 2 - 'Resurrection' - which has nothing to do with today's Christian holiday, but it is something I listen to every Easter (usually Bernstein's New York Philharmonic version of Deutche Grammophone) but also have this fine version...

    Happy Easter, advocates. Had to cut my tennis outing short this morning. The wrist was barking something awful. I keep saying it's time to go under the knife, but it appears it can be delayed no longer. It's either that or a cortisone shot. We shall see. Anyhow, getting into things with the Yankees game and a fresh can of Heady from the master himself, John Kimmich. Cheers!!!

    Bearded Iris Homestyle IPA (Mosaic). Crazy to believe they’re now distributing to Indiana. Believe I’ve had this once before, but it’s been a while. A solid, drinkable hazy IPA.
