    Review over at the NBW, first time trying Fair Isle's Fay Fuller Saison. Its excellent, fruity, hoppy, peppery, spicy, lightly funky and tart. Exactly what I love about the style.

    Reading a couple of short novels on this Easter Sunday. Toni Morrison's only short novel, and just published for the first time this year, Recitatif. And Ocean Vuong's poetry collection, Time is a Mother, which I have been looking forward to.

    3 Floyd’s Dreadnaught DIPA (Simcoe, Warrior, Centennial, Cascade). This tastes just like the old days when it was in bombers. Really hitting the spot.

    Drinking Warsteiner Pilsener straight out of the bottle. I ordered a new bike about 2 weeks ago to replace my 25-year-old GT. I took the old bike out today to get in a few miles to get my legs ready for the new bike. I was on a slight incline and down shifted, I heard a rattle as if the chain wasn't properly seated. I shifted back up and then down. The rear derailer snapped off, wrapped around the chain and became lodged in the spokes of my rear tire. Fortunately, I wasn't moving fast so the abrupt stop didn't throw me off the bike. I should get the new bike mid-May

    Key Bump from Hoof Hearted Brewing. A really well put together TIPA that landed on my porch a few days ago courtesy of the one and only @Blogjackets If you want to have some fun, have your SO pronounce the brewery name out loud several times. Have you best Beavis and Butthead laugh readily available. Cheers!

    Yeah, me too. In 2020 I did something really stupid and went over the handlebar, got away with some minor road rash, but it could have been a lot worse. Always wear a helmet
