    Good evening Advocates,
here a brief account of my Easter Monday, at the "Festa di Pasquale" of a local craft brewery Jungle Juice Brewing.

I pinned something on the beers I tasted for the first time and on their Sour Ale, which although the recipe is the same, almost every time it is always different.

Jungle Juice Brewing (Roma, ITA) Lucky Brews (Vicenza, ITA) + Hilltop Brewery (Bassano Romano, Viterbo, ITA) + Birra MC-77 (Caccamo di Serrapetrona, Macerata, Marche, ITA) - NO TIPS - Mexican Lager (5,5%) with lemon peels.

Collaboration between all beautiful Italian craft breweries.
5.5% Mexican lager with the use of Mexican corn, Sabro hops at the end of boiling and the addition of lemon peels.
Golden blonde, abundant foam and of fair consistency.
On the nose, light hints of cereal and a hint of citrus.
In the mouth it is definitely much spicier than a classic continental Lager, no bread / wheat crust is felt.
Spiced, but much less than the Mexican Lager of the Pontino Brewery in which the herbaceous notes of the yeast from Mexico City characterize the beer.
Here rather, it seems to me that it is the albedo (the white of the lemon) that characterizes the drink, without ever going on the "lemon", it always remains on the citrus peel with hints between light fruity and a slight bitter.
    Very summery, refreshing and tasty.

Jungle Juice Brewing (Roma, ITA) - RENATO - Sour Ale with passin fruit, cinnamon and ginger (4.8%)

I've been drinking it for years.
Almost pinchy aroma of passion fruit (I could also say mango ...) and cinnamon in the background.
    Light straw, slightly opaque.
    No foam.
Compared to what I remember, this one seems to me almost to be in a very summer version.
In the sense that it looks like a real passion fruit juice
Very light body, almost no carbonation ... it goes down flat and smooth
It goes down just like a fruit juice.
Cinnamon emerges in the background after the beer sits a little in the glass, but in a very light form.
I drank this beer, probably in less cool conditions, in which the acidulous note of the fruit was much more evident and characterizing, changing the sense of the beer.

    I'm back guys,
this is another beer I tasted for the first time and while not a fanatic of this style, I really enjoyed it:

Jungle Juice Brewing (Roma, ITA) - DIRTY THINGS - New England IPA (6,5%)

Drank in front of the historic nursery known as "Antico Garden", very famous there in the Montesacro area in Rome.
Their first New England India Pale Ale, using Vermont yeast.
    Opalescent orange color, impenetrable.
Abundant foam, soft and creamy, does not disappear in the short term.
    Minimal, almost flat carbonation.
    Medium / full body.
Already on the nose aromas of yellow and tropical fruit. Ripe citrus fruits.
In the mouth, a splendid example for the New England Ipa genre in my opinion: a large fruity range that ranges from ripe apricot to peach, melon, yellow plums, all "softened" by this sense of silkiness that allows such a fruity drink without neither an acid note nor a jam note.
The fruity scent is very softened, almost as if there was a layer between the explosion of the fruity taste and the soft finish, dry but absolutely not bitter.
Fruity bomb (summer and tropical fruit) that is almost sedated by a veil that intervenes before a fairly dry finish, while the taste of fruit remains pleasantly on the palate.

I assure you that I drank many other things in the long day (like their gose SALTY LA FAINA, taken several times and always pleasant, their always splendid American Ipa BABA JAGA, one of my always favorite ones from this brewery, and their Double Ipa CHOOSE A FUCKING BIG TELEVISION), but these were the ones I focused on a little bit better.
    Sláinte !
    Cheers !

Last day off before returning to work. Been a raw, windy day here with off and on rain. I recycle all my beer cans and bottles and I put the trash out last night, but this morning I woke up to beer cans scattered all over the street and my neighbors yard from the wind so I had to go out and pick up all that stuff. At least we got rain here and not snow. Anyway, just popped a Finestkind IPA and relaxing a bit.

Lots of chocolate, cinnamon, and spice flavors, which I find unusual for the style. Very tasty though.

Good afternoon BAs! I'm just kicking back here art the 4pm hour in North GA drinking Akademia Brewing's Skal Norwegian Wheat Ale brewed with Kveik yeast (5.8% ABV). This is such a great little brewpub out of Athens, GA. They have good range. This is a great warm weather beer and I always pick up drinking it close to May. The more fresh the better this beer is. I've got a few days off coming up and thinking about rolling in to pick up a new beer they just put out - a Helles with peaches. Cheers all!

Good afternoon BA's! Good to be back after a few days away. It is a crisp windy sunny day south of Asheville with temps in the low 50's.
Today's first choice is part of a local grocer mixed sixer, an American IPA from Appalachian Mountain Brewery in Boone which is about 2 hours northeast of my locale. Like this beer despite it being past expiration, definitely a solid well executed old school IPA!
Went to the Samantha Fish show up in Asheville Sunday night. Very talented modern Blues-Rock artist with a nice smokey voice and some top-notch guitar skills!
    Cheers!
