Miller is too skunky for me unless it's Genuine Draft and I haven't had that in so long, I don't even know if they make it anymore! I love it though....that, Heineken and Moosehead ( which may not exist anymore) are my favs.

That one definitely has some age on it. If was solid, I'll count that as a win.

I'm not a fan of Coors, Budweiser or Miller(not hating). I do like Stella Artois and will fuck with some Heineken tho. I tend to like Euro/German and craft lagers. I love lagers myself I noticed early out they get shit on by beer snobs sometimes.

Would it possible be from '14? The printing on the bottom the can was all funked up.

That's interesting. I've never had a skunky Miller light but I have had plenty of Heineken's in the green bottle that were. On draft, it's good. Moosehead, it's still made I don't think I see it much in Atlanta. Drank a few of those years ago too.

I’ve never had Harvest Ale before… but this can’t be what it’s supposed to taste like. Pretty unfortunate

That's a nice brew. I'm not big on Scotch Ales, but friends bring it back from Idaho, and I always seem to enjoy having one.

Sweetwater is just starting distro here in the PNW (I haven't seen any yet), but I'm wondering "why?". I think they're gonna end up like Cigar City; an initial burst of curiosity buys, and then shelf turding. I don't think their stuff is gonna stand far enough apart from all the local/regional stuff to be successful for them.

If you want to have an excellent beer drinking experience - a drinkable beer with low bitterness but excellent flavor/character - try a Weihenstephaner Helles out of the can. Or if price point is a factor, try a Paulaner Original Munich Lager (gold can) out of the can. Those are excellent beers that easy to drink and have plenty of character. Out of the can you'll never get skunky. Cheers!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't go back that far. If I had to guess, I'd say 2017 / 2018.

You're on point. I'm very proud of the beers we're brewing here locally but realistic. SweetWater is one of Georgia's oldest breweries, it and Atlanta Brewing Co. Their IPA is VERY good. Old school. If you see it, be sure to try it. The Extra Pale Ale is an average beer. It tastes good but it's not going to set itself apart. Creature Comforts Automatic is superior in that style from GA. If they don't get their price point right it may not take. Excellent observation.

Ottakringer Falco Brew. A one off beer at 65th anniversary of the (late) artist Falco. It is a Märzen-/Lagerbier, like they say on the Ottakringer website. Need to get some more to bring home later.
Not much 'craft' beer around here by the way. Saw some Sierra Nevada and Brew Dog. I guess it is difficult in a market where excellent classic beer is almost as cheap as water. However, I would not mind a double IPA by now
    Cheers from Vienna

Excellent! A good well crafted American craft lager can be a joy to drink for sure. Nothing better than something you enjoy drinking without having to overthink it. Cheers!

This is a solid WC IPA…don’t know why I don’t drink it more often, the price is the same or better than Jai Alai…Cheers!
