Got today off as a comp day, so i decided to do some waking and bar/brewery hopping in KC. The first beer of the day is a Firestone Walker Parabola at Taps on Main in KCMO. It's 80+°F with OMG humidity and a stiff breeze, so this will probably be the only stout for the day. But let's do this, or as my wife would say "stoodis"

 

My friend, much of what is everyday beer in Europe would be considered craft in the U.S. Even a brewery as large as Paulaner makes some of the best beers in the world. What you may be missing is variety. Enjoy!

I have some left over ribs reheating in the oven for dinner. My new sofa is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow so I dragged my old one out to the driveway this morning - I have a disposal service coming to pick it up.

In the meantime, I moved the loveseat over to where my sofa used to be and it really opens up the room, I'm kinda digging it. At any rate, I'm ready for a new sofa and I no longer have to worry about my cat tearing it up with his claws. I got my money's worth from the old one though, I'd say it was around 15 years old. Having a lovely Hippie Chick in the meantime ...
